In our 'Credits' section we see 'Location Manager: Miriam Nyie'. What are the chances of adding a tab that simply says 'Location: (insert country/city/town here)'? And... would it be too big of an ask for a retrospective back catalogue for their previous films too? Please and thank you.

We had to wait almost a year for this to happen, but finally it did, and boy was it worth the wait. I said from the start Sabrisse would be a perfect match for Team A&A, and she was pretty darn close to it. This is the most comfortable I've seen her on screen and the most genuine performance she's given anywhere to date - kudos Team A&A. There's still room for improvement for her, but I think with time and familiarity with the team, she'll open up more. Physically, she's one of the beautiful girls working today, but it's her eyes, smile and energy that makes her special. Don has captured her personality well in his photography, though no one to date has translated it particularly well on film. This is the challenge for you Team A&A - you're the most adept and capable team at doing this because the environment of warmth, fun and love you create on set translates into your films well.
Additionally, I'd like to praise recent films like My Vision, Just A Dream, Exploration and Conversation. While they are all using what is essentially the same concept.... they are using a concept. It adds a little more layer to film, and something sexy and cerebral. I'd encourage you to continue to produce films like this.

Cool film and great chemistry! There was one camera angle that should have been left on the editing room floor though - over the head of Cherry, roughly 9:00-10:00 - it distracted from the mood and intimacy established, and it took a little while to get back there. I can't help but too wonder what might have been if you'd stayed outdoors with that beautiful piece of music crescendoing and de-crescendoing throughout... I imagine "majestical" things ;) Now I know I'm being harsh, especially given that this is one of the better films I've seen this year, but there's always room for improvement somewhere :) Thanks Team A&A

Only 'Moonlight' rivals this for best-made SexArt film this year.
There's so much attention to detail, I'm actually blown away. Not only are the girls perfectly cast opposite each other; but the positions, the camera angles, the editing... it all coalesces to illustrate/celebrate the best features and unique beauty of each. Never has either girls ass or legs been showcased like this before - and to the detriment of everything else thats's come before this I might add.
There's just an enough art and theme there to keep me intrigued also, but certainly, I think there was plenty of room to dive deeper. Perhaps you could have had multiple songs feature as part of the score, each conjuring it's own set of emotions and transporting the girls into uniquely different way of lovemaking. Physically, I was intrigued by the dichotomy of the girls similarities (body shape/type) and differences (blonde vs. black), and I think that could have been used symbolically also. Anyway... brief ideas that haven't been fully thought-out, but you see my point.
Mostly I'd just like to say thank you and mention three things.
1. When you leave the unwelcome voyeur shots where they belong, you guys dance with perfection.
2. Dido and the legends: Iwia, Whitney, Lorena, etc. They're always welcome here and personally, I wish you guys would bring them back a HECK of a lot more often than what you do! New girls have there place too, but there's a reason this film stands above the rest and a GREAT deal of it has to do with the performance of the experienced, mature models in it.
3. Further... Perhaps show this to our younger girls (Nancy, you jump straight into my head) and tell them to pay attention to authentic, honest, genuine way in which these girls lick each other

At about 9mins through I said to myself, "I swear to God, if Nancy pulls her mouth off Sybil's pussy one more time I'm giving up!" 10mins through I'd convinced myself 4 times to keep trying. At 11mins I simply couldn't handle it anymore and I gave up. That's not intimacy, it's not passion and it's NOT TRUE!

Hey Kirst :) I thought that a little too. To me though the cinematography is all Lupin 2.0, but the atmosphere created particularly by the lighting and score (somewhat), as well as the story, editing and construction of the scene... I could have easily mistaken it for Alis' work. I like that though! Both directors have their own strengths and weaknesses, typically Lupin: Sex and Locanta: Art; it's nice when they take a page from each others book and deliver us SexArt.
With reference to Lupin 2.0: I'm stoked to see a better understanding of quadrants, less panning and dynamic movements, less cluttering of the foreground, better focus and a balance of shot types, now including extreme close-ups. It's not only a significant improvement in the quality of the filmmaking, but it's creating a stillness and emotional aura consistent with his ethos.

It's thematic, conceptual and emotional - all the makings of a perfect film, and that's exactly what this is... a perfect film! This is the best I've seen from Team A&A since Symphony! The score, the lighting and the story combine to create an intriguing, mesmerising atmosphere in which there's just enough incomplete context to wonder where this tale begins and ends - Kalisy's opening positioning mirroring that of her last. The decision, well, there are dreamers and there are realists... ;)
You actually make a VERY good point Aethelstan, there a hardly any... and certainly no standouts. The only one I recall being memorable is Winter Solstice with Jessie and Elle and that was a long time ago! Something to fix SexArt.

The intro is excellent, establishing characters and a relationship we can care about, so that when the sex arrives there's meaning to it. That is why this film is FAR superior to 'Sunset'. I particularly adore the sets, lighting and colouring also.
With regards to story and assembly though. It's all been done before.

Body: sex scene
Credits: (with possible outro featuring further exploration of relationship, or outtakes/bloopers)
It's all too familiar and becoming rather cookie cutter. Keeping innovating and finding new stories - recycling old ones isn't fresh or exciting. I've said the same thing to Alis over at VT.
Too much fingering. If a girl fingers too much, it's cause she doesn't like pussy and doesn't (at least sexually) like girls. At the end of the day, too much fingering equals fakery and thus disinterest on my part. Lesbian porn needs to depict real, healthy lesbian relationships. This does not.
I'd love to see more of Sybil, though I don't think she's a lesbian performer like her counterpart in Vanessa here. Let's get her involved solos instead.

A great film, great chemistry and your 'lived-in' locations have improved out of sight, but I must be honest... I wouldn't go as far as to say I hated the opening, but I intensely disliked it - in fact, after about 2mins I skipped through it.
I know you love handheld and love being intimately close to the action, but there was a line crossed here; things didn't feel romantic or intimate as intended, they actually felt nastily gonzo. I think it was the rapid, constant movement, the extremeness of the close-up and some of the angles (i.e. 45 degrees past Joel's butt onto Clea sucking his cock). It didn't work for me, it probably won't ever work for me, and it's not something I'd like to see repeated - judging by the low rating and lack of comments too, I think others might feel the same.
Anyway, enough of me being harsh on you, that was after all only 4 minutes of the film. As I said above, the remainder was quite beautiful.

A brilliant little slice of summer love. Kudos on the sound editing/mixing – controlling it despite the elements is a wonderful feat and ode to growth re: the opening of ‘Ladies’. It’s great to see some outdoor lovemaking too; those indoor “hotel rooms” you guys seem to favour are far too bland and lacking in character for my liking. I’d love to see a lot more outdoor shoots in the future; I feel they favour your style. I love basically all of this, I just think the structure is completely back-to-front. The sex will mean something IF you've taken the time to establish location, characters, relationship etc., not the the other way around. This piece got interesting as soon as the girls finished having sex; which is sad, because you swap the 'cool-down and postlude' to 'prelude and foreplay' and it changes this piece into something much more emotional.
Additionally. We see the girls communicate when the music is playing, why not during the sex scene itself? It doesn't need to be subtitled, noises that sound like words will do. Sex is a social experience, we've been telling you that forever SexArt; I think it's time we made some strides on this front.

It is disheartening, I totally agree. I alluded to it on 'Play The Game'. Girls like Tracy and Whitney helped SexArt find it's identity and project into the upper echelon - so why aren't we seeing more of them?
SexArt has been around for... I think 4 years now. I feel we've earned the right to be somewhat picky and elitist with the models we work with. Now elitist is almost always read with negative connotations but I can't subscribe to that. Victoria's Secret and SI Swimsuit bring us, without question, the most attractive women on the planet, who are at the absolute top of their game - and that's elitist. It's not one way though, because those women become a part of that label, if not that label itself.
When you think VS you automatically think Alessandra, Adriana, Candice, Behati, Rosie, Elsa, etc. When you think SI you think Bar, Brooklyn, Hannah, Kate, Nina, Irina, etc.
And why do we love those brands so much? Mostly because we love the women they work with! We love seeing Candice on the runway at the Fashion Show every year. We love seeing her in all the commercials. We love browsing the online store and seeing her there in 100 different types of swimsuits smiling that perfect smile. We want lots of Candice, VS gives her to us, and we're very happy about it.
We were somewhat on the right track when we gave out exclusive contracts to Michaela and Sapphira. Now I don't mean that because they were 'exclusive', I mean that because we had a really healthy flow of work from them. We loved those girls and we loved seeing them regularly in photosets and films. We knew we'd be getting more of them, and we were always excited for when that work was released. That was the power of hype. That was an excellent time for SexArt.
Now when I think SexArt, I want our models names to be the one of the first thing that springs to mind too. One of my favourite films this year. I love the darker, psychological touch and the moody, clandestine atmosphere created - especially through score. My only gripe is with one particular problem created by the lighting. Yes, the lighting was an integral part of the film but surely there had to be a way around those unflattering shadows cast over the girls faces. Rarely did I see either girls eyes and never was I able to make out what colour they were. The eyes are emotion of a scene; with them featured, this could have been elevated further yet. My question to you is this: why, because Nancy is straight, does she not deserve to play that part? Further, would you hold it against someone who happened to be lesbian for playing a straight role? Based on your current belief, you're actually hamstringing people on both sides. You're saying that Nancy - despite her bravery, openness and progressive values - should not be allowed to represent and raise awareness for lesbian minorities through art - which, in fact, is one of the primary functions of art: to educate and raise awareness. The same would apply vice versa to a lesbian woman in a straight role. Mimi, at the end of the day, we need to be thanking Nancy, and others like her. That's not a crime, and certainly not something deserving of the tone in which you replied. True artists want people to be critical of their work anyway. Firstly, because it's a compliment - if a person takes the time to write something discerning, the artist knows they engaged and challenged their audience. Secondly, because in that feedback provided, there may be information that can help said artist fine tune their skills. If I'm in Team A&A's shoes, I want all the feedback, positive and negative I can get. Why? The above mentioned points.
Anyway. Going off history it's clear we want different things from SexArt. I respect what you want. Please try to respect what I want also.

Team A&A are entirely capable - we saw it in Tarot very recently (though that was apparently shot 2 years ago) - it's just... they need to work from a script. Hitchcock understood it when he said, "to make a great film you need three things - the script, the script, the script".
Don't get me wrong, this is a great feel-good piece and it's stimulating and orgasmic and fun, but... 1 week from now it's gone from my memory. Art needs to foster an interactive experience, where it not only serves to entertain, but to engage, evoke and/or educate. Further it should consolidate and/or expand ideas and start a discussion. That's art to me... everything else is imitation.
I mean, you can pick those artists who work from scripts right away - Locanta, Lakante and Black are standouts, Zakari looks promising - because their films fulfil the above-mentioned criteria. My theory/opinion/advice on the matter: 1) get Team A&A working from scripts (more often) 2) redirect those script-writing for Alis to Team A&A. Anyway... Just some thoughts.
P.S. You should watch The Neon Demon _fer. Like or loathe it - it'll be one of the two - you'll be able to respect it as art. It's an experience not easily forgotten and one that will stick with you and percolate for some time. You're welcome to email me if/after you watch it too, because it's something I'd love to discuss :)

Yes. Rebirth and new beginnings, certainly. It's interesting how it all worked out - how death of one relationship (Ep 1) was able to bring life to others (Eps. 2, 3, 4), and conversely how birth of other relationships all but confirmed the death of those previously. It's an interesting idea and something to think about for sure :)
I like and agree with your second paragraph. I'm talking exclusively about the visual representation of that chemistry i.e. does the filmic language represent and convey the same eloquence as the girls interaction? I don't think so. It's too dynamic, it's rapid, there's too many close ups and short cuts, etc. That sort of thing is typical for action movies and it's used to create a sense of urgency and excitement. If my memory's good, you should check out 'Cumpleaños Feliz'. That shooting-editing style would have been MUCH better suited and it would have helped to better visually realise the theme of that episode. Also, gotta agree, Alexis is one badass babe, but so are Uma and Lexi. They give their all to each other!
Additionally. For you Kat and anyone else interested, is a superb Malick film by the name of Knight of Cups. I'll tell you a VERY basic outline, cause you should engage and discover what it all means for yourself - it'll be much more potent that way. I'd be super keen to discuss it thereafter though! Basically, a guy get some Tarot cards read and he reflects on 6 different relationships. Honestly, one of the best films I've ever watched, just be prepared, it's Malick... you need to watch ACTIVELY with your thinking cap and you need to think conceptually, metaphorically and spiritually.

Just an "end", here it's of a relationship/relationships.
This is one the best SexArt series I've seen, particularly in term of concept and theme - I really did view this as art and film, and not just your 'more common' brand of "titillating" erotica.
Still improvements to be made in shooting and editing though - "Hope" for example was ineloquently handled, and I use that word because thematically it needed to be warm and fluid and eloquent to visually represent the relationship "found". Some of your steadicam stuff is far too dynamic and when you're shooting that in close-up and then linking things with dynamic cuts, it can become... almost assaulting. Just let things breathe a little, and don't be afraid to use a tripod.
On the whole though, I'm extremely impressed and extremely happy for you guys. I'm led to believe this was shot almost 2 years ago now, but if you can bring something like this to the table again, and as a more regular occurrence, I'll be over the moon! This showcases your abilities as FILMMAKERS so perfectly. Well done, congrats, you have my admiration for a fucking fantastic series.
Also.. great casting!!! I said it on "False", but I'll say it again - I've never seen three girls interact in the ways these three do. They were made for each other, whether it be in 2's or 3's. Should Uma still be working, I'd whole-heartedly encourage you to bring them back together and often. Something like what these three have deserves as much attention as you guys can give it. I'd be delighted to watch an extended 10 episode series built around this 3-way lesbian relationship - I'd even be willing to dedicate some time to writing something if you guys can't find the time.

Yeah... and I agree with you. Great conception and all the right production values, the problem I had was that the assembly was a little confused. It's one thing have intent, another to convey it astutely and effectively through filmic language. I saw room for improvement so I provided constructive feedback. If I was Don, I'd want feedback, positive or negative, so I can better my abilities. Those are the values I've been raised on anyway.
I remember reading an extensive interview with Kaufman once and the most important thing I walked away with was a quote that went something like: "the most valuable thing to me is not money but art and those who can appreciate it. When people don't just watch, but engage with my work - understand why I lit a scene that way, or why I moved the camera that way - that is what's most valuable to me". My point? An artist allowed me the privilege of viewing their work, so rather than just consume, I engaged and attempted to give back... because I like and respect people like Charlie Kaufman and Don Caravaggio.

My feelings on this are fairly mixed. It’s got everything going for it… everything… but there’s something that I just cannot forgive – the disjointedness of the story and the tone that goes with it. It’s kinda like watching Suicide Squad. It has all the right intentions and all the right production values, but it’s confused and doesn’t really understand what it is or what it has the potential to be. The result… it’s messy.
You start with one of the most beautiful beachside openings ever, and you’ve got Lorena being her cheeky, flirty, natural self and you top it off with this joyous, free-spirited 80’s-inspired score and I’m like…. “this feels real and authentic and I’m pretty keen to emotionally invest in whatever comes next”. As far as openings go, like fuck… that hit the mark so damn well! But then…
You take it indoors and you literally forget about everything that’s just come before it. New clothing, new décor, stage lighting rather than natural… you’ve discarded the handheld for a mounted-sliding/panning camera (I don’t know what the artistic purpose of that is – take notes from Fincher and tripod mount it if there is none), and then you put this completely different, sophisticated jazz score in there too, and I’m perplexed, like, “What?!? How’d we get from A to B, in what way do they relate, and also, how do you want me to feel again?” You HAVE to consider this stuff.
Sorry Don. I know this might sound harsh, but if it helps, Ayer is great director with a hell of a lot of skill just like you – you only have to see End of Watch and Fury to understand that. It’s just… you have to think about the stuff I’ve mentioned above. Story and tone are 2 of the most vital, if not, the most vital things in filmmaking. You have to get em right. Otherwise, no matter how good the production is, it’ll always fall flat.
You’ve got to understand too, one of the primary functions of art is to manipulate emotion and make an audience feel, so… don’t confuse them. Figure out what it is you want them to feel and what journey you want to take them on and then use your film technique to accomplish that with consideration and consistency.
Anyway. I know you’re a kickass photographer – you’re my fav post-Erro – I just want you to keep going with your filmmaking cause I truly do believe in you and Lorena and you’re developing so much as a team! I always look forward to seeing your work and I can’t wait to see you again :)
P.S. Lorena (and Tracy) are like the most normal, natural, coolest girls ever. They make me feel so secure and unashamed of my sexuality and desires. And that’s seriously the highest compliment I can give them both :)

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the series in it's entirety, but as it stands right now Team A&A, you should know it's on an excellent trajectory. This is some of the better filmmaking I've seen at SexArt ever (by any artist), and definitely the best of what I've seen this year - faith restored. There's a shot in that introduction with the girls overlooking the ocean and watching the surfer's; and the framing, the lighting, the composition, everything... it's magic, Malick magic in fact.
My critique. Dynamic shots don't necessarily make a film interesting or "good", nor does constantly connecting them with dynamic cuts. Additionally, you simply can't shoot and edit in that style if it's all close-up, it's nauseating. I know you wanted to portray intimacy, but you didn't need to do that cinematically - the girls gave you exactly what you needed, all you had to do was observe. So just relax a little on the camerawork and the overly-frenetic editing, and find beauty in stillness and simplicity. Not only will that suit the viewing experience better, but it'll suit your ethos too - and that's extremely important; don't disservice your own ethos.

Arguably one of the most interesting and beautiful intros I've ever witnessed. Stunning location, score, cinematography, lighting... it's as close to perfection as can be. It's a shame then that it's COMPLETELY disjointed to the body of the video. Surely this cannot misleadingly take it's namesake or poster art from 3 minutes of introductory video. In no way do the intro and body link or complement each other, and I unfortunately saw no attempt to even do so. Apparently the intro was shot in Mallorca... what indication do I have against the notion of the body being shot in a hotel room in Mumbai? Further, why are we shooting in what appear to be bland, lifeless hotel rooms anyway? In what way do locations such as this add to the story, the context, the internal and external emotion of a scene? They don't. Using them is not considered, deliberate filmmaking.
Bo's "Fire Dance" was FAR superior to this, and what's a shame, a real bloody shame... is that I know you guys were capable of exceeding it. You have the talent, you have the skill, you have the team; you guys are capable of much better! If you wanted to accomplish something truly transcendent you would have stayed out on the balcony and fought tooth and nail to overcome production difficulties and achieve it. If you you weren't prepared to do that, you should have added a VERY simple transitionary scene from balcony to bedroom and ideally not named the film Fire Dance. I don't know... maybe my expectations are too high? But then again, you're the ones who set the bar that high in the first place...

Ivana looks fantastic in skinny jeans! The doors look great too... Such intricacy and beauty to their craft, I'm glad we didn't miss that, it would have been such a shame ;) Sarcasm aside though, this is when Team A&A are at their best. Their odes to Prague - Market, Petrin, Sunset on Charles Bridge, etc - capture the energy of what they're truly about. Other than the "poor framing, dead-space door thing" the video's got going on, it's pretty close to perfect.
P.S. I'd love to see Ivana paired with someone with genuine lesbian tendencies... Uma comes to mind. I think they'd be ravenous together!

Killer location and killer idea! The prelude and postlude are spot on and that soundtrack definitely suits the party atmosphere . Overall, I think it's a great little video, however, I do think some improvements could have been made:
1. There's a tendency for you, Team A&A, to have a disconnect between prelude (scene a) and body (scene b). Recent examples I would give are Like Waves, Models and to a lesser extent, Market and Girls Day. A scene is set, emotions are established (often in line with the score) and then, abruptly, a new scene starts, we have a new location, a new score, emotions change and we are putting together the context. Certainly, it can work... but in the examples I've given, I feel as though that little bit of extra set-up and scene transitioning will help to create a fluency and fluidity that would better suit your style. Following Nancy and Rosaline from the party to the hull and then tracking Margot as she joins later is simple enough and would help to provide that fluidity and context. You did it pretty well on What Happens When?, so maybe use that as a reference and tinker with it, until you hit the sweet spot :)
2. I feel as though more work could have been done in sound-editing to get this to it's most well-realised state. Recording atmospheric sounds on location, reducing their volume in post, and then adding post-production recordings of girls simulating the sexual encounter would have, in my mind at least, been the most ideal version. How practical that is given constraints however, I'm honestly not sure.
3. For any girl wanting to do lesbian movies, I'd recommend watching Malena Morgan or Tracy Lindsay. When they eat pussy, their mouths literally never lift away from it until their girl orgasms. That what separates them, elevates their work above others, and makes you believe in the reality of the connection they have with their partner. If a girl keeps pulling away, she's hesitant. If a girl uses her fingers after 30 secs, she's hesitant. And for me, hesitancy = uncomfortable or faking it. Neither of which I want to watch.
Lastly, thank you Team A&A. As I said, overall,I think it's pretty awesome!

Rose. The whole philosophy of SexArt is that they make Erotic Film, NOT "Erotica", NOT "Porn". There is a VERY clear distinction - I'm mentioned it numerous times before. We've devolved significantly over the past year and a half, and I worry most that the people running, working and contributing to site are unable to make that distinction. That first sentence has hit me like a subway train. Is this truly what you and the SexArt team believe your philosophy to be?
Just like everyone else in the comments section, I like Nancy, I think it's great to finally see her on film and it's particularly awesome cause she's making out with another girl. I also think Sybil is gorgeous too and that both have a lot of potential! Honestly though, I feel as I may be the only person viewing this without rose-coloured glasses on.
As a story, as a film, as a testament to an artist's evolution over time... this is disappointing :( I can't help but harken back to my comments about Blink-182. This is the old hits being played over and over: The Sea Mousse, Horizont, Horizont II - with nothing fresh or original being offered.
The only advice I can give is to look at Alis' anthology films, specifically The Heat 1 and 2, Secretly 1 and 2, and The Road Goes on 1 and 2, and look at how he developed and strengthened the ideas presented in them. In every instance, he took "erotica" and developed it into "erotic film". Alis grew as an ARTIST. With reference to Blink also, it might be worthwhile looking into how Delonge has evolved as an artist too. The guy used to make punk music and dick jokes, now he's not only one of the most recognisable musicians and lyricists, but a filmmaker (an award-winning one to boot), an author of numerous novels, a comic-book artist, and the list goes on.
There's any number of ways this "video" could have been developed intellectually, conceptually, thematically. Give me 5 secs... Ok. Why not juxtapose the beauty and danger/destruction of waves with that of the development and deterioration of a relationship, al-la Cianfrance's Blue Valentine? That sounds like art to me.
I'm looking at today's release too - as in Take Care, and I'm thinking is this art? On an "erotica" site it would fit the bill - exceptionally well, but... I expect a LOT more from a ART-"film" site. Good art needs to present a theme, concept, idea, and/or evoke emotions that challenge or attempt to enlighten an audience as to the nature of the human condition - it's not art otherwise.
In all honesty, both these "videos" will be forgotten by the time I fall asleep tonight. Now isn't the purpose of art to create something that sticks with the viewer for what may potentially be the rest of their life. Something that informs the way they live, view the world, the people around them, etc.
Jon, this is what I'm talking about. These 2 films represent the deterioration of SexArt from erotic film into erotica. Are you seeing what I'm seeing? Isn't it time to bring Alis back here? Isn't it time to recruit someone with an artist's mind like J. Zakari and bring him in too? Isn't it time to involve a writer with Team A&A. You can pick Garland's scripts from a mile away because regardless of the director, there is an artistry and theme that comes through them. Let's get back to making innovative material... film. Let's get back to our golden age.
P.S. Andrej. If there is one particularly positive thing I can say, it's that your post-credits from this and Market have a lot of honesty and purity in them. If you can inject that spontaneity and truth into the body of the work, as in the actual film, it will elevate your work significantly.

Look... this is hot, particularly because I'm a legs and feet person, but I’m honestly unimpressed by this series.
First. It’s not GLS Season 4 as it’s claiming to be. To me it’s quite clear this has been pulled from the archives and recycled in response to the in-depth conversation that took part on “Tarein” – I think this says a lot about the state of SexArt currently, and I’d urge you guys to consider not just 1, but all 7 points made in that conversation.
Second. The series offers nothing fresh or different, though given the fact it’s old, I wouldn’t expect it to anyway. In the interest of helping out, here’s what I’d do with GLS #ConceptBySydney
Any time you’re interviewing an adult performer, you have to unique opportunity to subvert the viewer’s gaze, portray the individual as a real person and in doing so, diminish the idea of said performer as a voyeuristic, objectified sex object. Basically, through interviewing these women you’d promote the idea of relating to one another sexually in an honest, intimate, respectful and LOVING way by scrutinising and subverting the pornographic gaze.
To me porn perpetuates this strange, exaggerated perception of sexual activity and promotes promiscuity as the natural sexual state. It leads to us putting our sexual needs over those of love and intimacy, it undermines sexual monogamy, and as such, it diminishes trust between intimate couples and fosters this inability to relate to each other in honest way. So… subvert all those things by talking to real women, with real stories in a largely desexualised manner. Put that first, make it the centrepiece, spend significant time genuinely getting to know someone, discovering their intimate selves and discussing their real life sexual relations, and… if you need to film something sexual, film it “pure” and “raw”. Put her in “her” environment, at home, where she can be herself.
Anyway. That’s enough, I’m really tired… For reference, go watch “Just Jasmine”. It’s by far and away the best GLS episode ever created. Everything else well and truly pales in comparison.

This is brilliant! This GLS episode provided an intimate look into Mango, and you’ve perfectly captured and conveyed her beauty, sexuality and personality. We are able to ascertain so much detail from this piece; which in turn adds depth and psychology to Mango’s films, her acting and her real life persona. If there’s one thing I can say, it’s that I’m so glad and proud (I don’t mean to sound snobbish) you’re listening to and implementing the feedback we, as members, provide. I genuinely believe you are producing more authentic and intimate films because of this.
Two discussion points, well, one really, the other is just a comment.
So I’ll start with the comment. I love the ending scene, for so many reasons. First, I’m a bikini person. Second, on a personal and professional level, so is Mango. Third and fourth, I liked the cheeky little anal play and score, both throwbacks to ‘Be My Slave: Vol. 2’ (her first work for SexArt). Fifth, location and the wide range shots which displayed it.
Ok, now onto the big discussion point and that’s anal. And in all honesty, I don’t feel this should be a big discussion point (if that makes any sense). This was well within the realms of SexArt. Mango enjoys/enjoyed it, and if she wants to explore and show that side of her sexual tastes, she should be more than welcome to. I’ve been watching a few VT works lately, and one of the things they incorporate is ass-licking (hmm… it does sound dirty when I say it). But to watch it, I don’t mind it all. In fact, it’s a little naughty and sexy, and it makes me feel that way too, which a nice thing. I understand if SexArt never want to include it, and that’s fine. I just want to say that I’m open to it however, as long as it’s always at the discretion of performers.

At last, The Amazing Race, whoops, sorry... Secrets of Prague is here! Haha :) This seems like it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun. This was a wonderful introduction, beautiful, genuine, truly tender lovemaking, shared between well-portrayed on-screen girlfriends.
Just some notes:
- Dialogue. It elevates this to a whole new level. The exchange between Alexis and Margo prior to and during sex add such realism to the scene and to the relationship portrayed
- Subtitles. This is how subtitles should be done! Hard-coded, no CC and no .srt, hard-coded! The only issue I did have here is that I get the feeling the subtitles are being done by someone who's native language isn't English. So... some of the subtitles don't quite fit the context. For example, when Alexis is taking off her panties, the dialogue reads, 'yes, put them down'. That really doesn't make any sense, 'yes, PULL them down', or 'yes, take them off' would be much more appropriate. As a perfectionist and someone with OCD, I find this really grating. Perhaps before releasing future episodes, a native english speaker can have a look at the subtitles and provide feedback with how to make them more suited to the context?
- Story. This is the kind of story I want from SexArt material. The stories need to subvert, redefine or better yet, totally do away with porn cliche's and offer something entirely fresh. They also need to engage the viewer emotionally and mentally. This is a wonderful story, I hope things continue on par, or get better as things go
-Editing. I'd refer to this as 'technically' erotic editing. The style is languid, stretching out shots for added realism. It provides plenty of long shots (allowing our eyes to peruse the scene as we wish), and these are beautifully mixed with what are very treasured close-ups showing genuine physiological excitement from the girls. Alis, and Guy and Don in particular should definitely look at this aspect of the filmmaking here, because this is exactly the shooting and editing style I'd be using over at VivThomas.
- Alexis. She keeps growing on me! And like Steph said, her eyebrows say everything. She's definitely one of your beautiful and talented girls Team A&A, so please continue to shoot with her. She always seems to connect in a very genuine way with her partners, specifically: Lexi, Uma and Margot

I think this is a story of exhibitionism, and I’d go further to say it’s about the writer’s acceptance of exhibitionism as a powerful force that drives her sexual arousal and pleasure.
In Scene 1 we have our conservative writer, clad from head to toe, in a state of imagination. Now, I believe those crosscuts we see of Scene 3, with that powerful, poised version of herself represent what is actually on her mind, and what she’s first typing about. As she continues to type however, what actually plays out in Scene 2 is slightly less daring, I guess you could say it’s a positively skewed medium between 1 and 3 – and I think that’s because she’s somewhat fearful of admitting her truer (and nastier) sexual desires to herself.
So with Scene 2, in Lawrence of Arabia style, we have a medium shot that sees the writer’s page slowly drift from left to right as she enters a realm of escapism to divulge half-truths regarding her sexual self. We have those close-ups too that represent the more finite and sexually charged details of her story – those full-truths, some of which remain trapped behind the windows, being kept at bay. In both instances too, we see these small inconsistences with repositioning and repeats and such, as our writer’s brain ticks over and deliberates what it’s willing to divulge.
Again, like other installments in the series too, I think there’s some stuff in there about gaze and objectification, but this time around, unlike in ShowTime, Melena is most definitely the objectifying her own sexuality. And as far her exhibitionism goes, I’d say she’s somewhat encouraging her audience to do the same – our lust is her arousal, that’s her truth, but here there is still hesitancy too that. In Scene 3 however, we see those half-truths full realised.
With those last few explicit lines about the Ben-Wa balls tipping her over the edge, those thoughts our writer first had come flooding back, demanding to be written – and for whatever reason, she can no longer keep them at bay. Her mind explodes with creativity and passion as she rapidly divulges her true desires. Her exhibitionist display gives sexual strength and control – that shining slit indicating just how powerful a force it is in driving her sexual arousal and pleasure. Now if only can she admit that to herself in the real world…

The last time I remember feeling this way was when I viewed Symphony. The thing is though, if someone asked me where I was emotionally ‘at’ after watching that film, I would never have been able to find the words to describe that. I recall trying to write a Blog piece for Symphony and very miserably failing. I was so disappointed in myself, because it deserved all the praise and love in the world. And that’s just it; I can’t really describe how these films make me feel, because these films make me FEEL… is love. I mean, I know what love is, but I certainly can’t articulate it to anyone. All I know is that it’s pure and perfect and real, and that when you’re that truly, madly and deeply in love, nothing else ever really matters. The interesting bit is that normally you have to be in love, to FEEL love, but with Symphony and Together, well… I mean, all I’m doing is watching… but I can tell it’s love, and I can FEEL its love. And my god is that something extremely, incredibly SPECIAL!

This is perhaps one of your best pieces of photography yet. Great lighting, colour, focus, setting, hair and make-up, lingerie, etc. Everything is just that little more bit sophisticated. In my opinion Don is SexArt's best photographer (not that I don't think everyone else is great, yourself included), and this is right on par, if not better than some of his work. The Pledge, The Turn and The Prestige ;) It’s a fine little magic trick you’ve performed. Luckily I was, ‘watching closely’.
The Pledge: in our opening B&W sequence we are presented with the inklings of a Dom/Sub relationship and Whitney is established as the one in power.
The Turn: this setup is however immediately subverted in our middle colour sequence, as we watch Julia take control. As the sexual encounter unfolds however, we begin to understand the mutual nature of Dom/Sub relations. The girl’s interaction develops further and further, and “the powerful emotions they express, and the desires they convey to each other, are what gives the films it’s weight and adds such powerful erotic impact to the encounter. Yearning, hunger, desire, lust, pleasure - through body language, eye-contact, even something as simple as a deep breath; the communication the lovers share as their encounter proceeds is both involving and exquisitely beautiful”.
The Prestige: and it’s in our closing sequence that these sentiments are confirmed. We learn through skilful use of juxtaposition and layering, that our B&W sequences are one in the same. A Dom/Sub relationship did exist, but it’s not as we thought; we’d been deliberately misdirected. This Dom/Sub encounter, and in fact Dom/Sub relations on the whole are a shared experience, consisting of shared roles. Situations such as these are not performed for the pleasure of one partner, but both. And though on the surface they may not seem it, they are built on trust, intimacy and connectedness.
On a technical note:
- In regards Jorge and Duliamo’s cinematography, they need to work on adjusting/adapting their focus when using tracking shots. It remains relatively fixed on (mostly on the face), and thus when tracking arms, hands, legs, etc. these body parts are out of focus. This is definitely an area for improvement.
- Long shots were MUCH better in this film. They did not cut out our actress’s lower bodies, and in fact, throughout the entirety of the film, thighs, legs and feet were almost always visible.
On an erotic note:
- My favourite erotic part of this film was the tracking of Whitney’s panties being removed, because we got to view Whitney’s legs and feet… and they are beautiful!
- Eva’s costume design. These costumes were unreal! So sexy and so feminine, and just gorgeous. This get’s my nomination for Best Costume Design at the 2014 SexArt Oscars.
- Physically, and Whitney and Julia were perfectly matched. They looked hot together, and couple-like.

Every time I think I've got you worked out... you evolve! This is powerful, authentic, romantic and FEMININE! And honestly, I think feminine is the highest compliment I can give. This makes me feel special, and beautiful, and appreciated, and loved. You and the girls have taken a simplistic concept and made it yours. I used to say Andrej was the best at capturing authentic chemistry... well Alis, Andrej should watch this, he might even learn a thing two.
Now what makes this work:
- Long, continuos shots. If you're looking to breathe life and authenticity into a film, that's how you do it. Just look at Shame, Blue and Short Term 12.
- Editing. In addition to the role long shots play here, you're really relaxing on the editing front. Yes, it remove that level of cerebral complexity, but for a film like this it makes for a more authentic, languid, believable encounter/atmosphere.
- Camera-work. Kudos to you and to Duliamo on this front. As of late, you're camera is wandering, swaying just that touch and exploring all parts of the female body, and your work it less masculine because of it.
- Chemistry. You knew these two were going to have it, just like I did. It's really important when your casting to try and match the right girls and you pretty much always nail it on this front. Please don't hesitate to link these two up again. Rose's idea of a more primal encounter is certainly something I'd be interested in.
- Allowing sexual positions time. For example, the scissoring scene. Compare this to the one in TRGO(2) and you'll notice the difference straight away. Once seems completely fake and the other seems completely real! Don't rush the girls, don't rush the positions, don't edit to increase the pacing, just let it all flow naturally.
That's all I've got for now Alis, haha. It was another late night killing time [writing ;)] until this downloaded, so I'm rather tired. I'll think on this in my sleep and I might have more to add in the morning :) Keep up the incredible work! You're amazing, and I'm very lucky I discovered your work!

I can see what you were trying to accomplish here with the story, that being that, Sapphira’s not really missing out on anything by not going out (to what presumably is a party). She is the party (as we see postlude), and it’s the people that are out, that are missing out on her.
Unfortunately the personality/aura required to pull off such a story never quite rang true. It just didn’t have the weight or authenticity it needed to shine. And as much as I like Sapphira, I think with a more experienced actress (this was obviously shot early in her career, pre Lupin-pairing and pre end of exclusive contract), this story would have succeeded in a much more complete way.
I wouldn’t say no to a g or g/g Vol. 2 starring Amarna, Ariel and/or Tracy. I also wouldn’t mind if you treated it as a little critique on single nightlife vs. committed relationship, because I could feel an essence of that presented here.

This really is a breath of fresh air! Now I say fresh because whilst your offerings in 2015 have been wonderful, most have been anthological updates that are too similar to their counterparts (Incandescence, Pasion(2), 122 Fahrenheit, etc.), or have been re-evaluated and offered up too soon following the original (Distorted Reality). This idea and this story felt fresh, and I was thus able to approach it with brighter eyes and a more open mind.
For me, the film was also so vividly nostalgic. I’ve just been backpacking for a month myself, and all these experiences are so fresh in my memory, that I could actually feel myself living this story with our girls: meeting new and stimulating people, wandering and discovering new locations to explore, organizing and locating accommodation and the excitement you get when it’s actually pretty awesome, enthusiastically engaging in a little promiscuous activity with a new friend; before ‘The Road Goes On’ to the next adventure. It’s simple, yet relatable and beautifully realised.
And it’s because of these few little things in production that I think this film really shines:
I don’t really have to say either of these things, because you almost always get it right Alis, but congrats on casting; Agatha and Silvie suited their roles perfectly, and were gorgeously matched as a couple; and also congrats with your direction. I loved how you placed significance on the fondling of breasts. It’s a very feminine directional choice and I absolutely love that! You’ve also managed to coach and garner a performance from Silvie that was her best yet! However… I felt incredibly awkward watching that final-final (as in when crotches touch) tribbing scene. It lacked all authenticity… I think I’ll just leave it at that…
I also wrote just recently about how much I love the format of IBDS, particularly in the way the second half of Vol.’s 2 and 3 emphasize female beauty through a (close up) full body study. I went on to say how I hoped this style of shooting-editing would be incorporated into films outside of that particular anthology. It was thrilling to see that happening here, and I hope it will continue in future releases.
Lastly I want to commend you on utilising your gorgeous outdoor location and managing such an attractive indoor setting, particularly with regard to your lighting! I loved how the shadows contoured and highlighted both ladies bodies.
Congrats on such an awesome film Alis! This is easily one of my favourites of 2015. I hope you’re well, and I look forward to seeing all your future work :)
P.S. I really want to see hugging, cuddling happening during explicit sex scenes. It doesn’t worry me if I miss out on seeing abs, or boobs, or whatever… That form of interaction is highly affectionate and extremely telling with regard to chemistry. I’d find it much ‘hotter’ and more authentic if our actresses were permitted to hold each other as they so desire during their scenes, rather than worry about ‘sexily’ positioning their bodies.

Alis, Amarna and Ariel,
To me, the Pour Toi Mon Amour anthology presents one of Alis’ simplest, yet most emotionally evocative and resonate ideas: that the love of two (bound) individuals is intensified by showing [prelude], giving [body] and sharing [postlude?] their unadulterated sexual selves to one another.
I must be honest and say that to date, the anthology has struggled to truly and convincingly affect this idea. Here however, these sentiments have been beautifully realised; thanks in no small part to the very real chemistry shared by our leading ladies.
I can only say thank you to all involved for allowing me the privilege of viewing the wonderfully captured spectacle of ‘love’ shared by these two very gorgeous ladies. And for presenting me with to opportunity to better understand and appreciate the artistic message behind this anthology.
Keep up the amazing work everyone! :)

I love this!... but there’s definitely room for improvement. So here goes :)
1) I loved that opening segment on the beach; with the location, camerawork and soundtrack, it captured a charming, feminine and relaxed summer vibe that hit the notes it was going for perfectly. However did I notice some issues with wind and sound recording, which I think could have been overcome during production or perhaps muted in post with a little bit more editing. I also have to bring it up, because it’s been present in the last 2 videos you guys have released – cigarettes are a no, no. Please let’s not see them on film again. Other than those 2 little things however, I have to say, I adored the opening :)
2) I loved the communication between the girls before and after their sexual encounter, but unfortunately the communication during the encounter itself was very limited. Communication is key in sex, and a heck of a lot more so when you have more than 2 people involved – it just doesn’t work otherwise. So it’s something that needs to be heavily encouraged in all scenes, threesomes particularly!
Additionally, you need that non-verbal communication, and too often we see Sicilia closing her eyes. Now, I understand that completely normal, especially if there’s genuine pleasure involved, but early in the scene I feel as though it’s a result of naïve and somewhat timid acting I guess. If there’s a true connection there, you’re going to want to look your partner in their eyes and feel their emotion and heart and heat and soul. Kiara did that very well (she always does) and it was captured very well; I have to say however that poor Taissia was undersold. Her eyes and smiles gave key emotional information to that scene, but if I weren’t looking for that, I would never have known. Now whether that’s an issue in shooting or in editing, perhaps both, it’s something that should be looked at. Because I feel if Taissia’s eyes and smile were given the camerawork and screen time they deserved, it would have elevated this scene to a whole other level.
3) Environments. This is something I’ve been discussing with Guy (at VT) a lot lately too. With your environments, it’s important that they have character and personality, and they need to support the story and it’s emotions. Viv, for the most part understood this very well, always opting for lived-in environments. If you’re interested, I’d take a look at his early work, a Stella-Vera Office Girls 1 Scene springs straight to mind. I bring this up because; a bland, white setting such as this does nothing to support the story being told. So let’s put a beach painting on the wall, some shell decorations; leave some thongs/flip-flops at the door, a beach bag and some towels too. Maybe leave some hairdryers around, some moisturiser, some make-up, a girly magazine, a water bottle, house keys, etc. Lived in environments add so much character and story to the story, and beyond that, give the scene a sense of realism – and tangibility is crucial for connectivity. Watch ‘The WETA Effect’ if you don’t believe me. Trust me, it might not seem important, but I can guarantee it will make a big difference, especially for you guys, because I consider you’re ‘REALISTIC’ storytellers. That’s your thing :) So let’s improve upon that even more
4) Kiara. When it comes to Team A&A Films, Kiara is definitely a force to be reckoned with, because there’s such a natural synergy there. It’s like Alis and Amarna for example, or Viv and Jo, or let’s really go for it and say Scorsese and DiCaprio. You can tell there’s a lot of mutual respect there, and a passion what’s being created. Kiara is someone I think you guys should consider trying to work with on a VERY regular basis, because no matter what, I know that together you’ll deliver quality material. And honestly, even if the demand for Kiara right now isn’t high enough, it will be! She’s a really beautiful and really talented girl, she deserves the opportunity to show (and tell) everyone just awesome she is really is!

This is another good set, but it's not 'great' like the other two. I think it's missing that level of vibrancy, flirtation and naughtiness I normally expect from Melena. I think you were trying for more sexy and sensual in this set, and thats great to see you experimenting with mood, but I like it when photography reveals that candid, 'this-is-me' feeling from the models. Those are just my feelings though :)
All in all, despite that and a few little focus issues in your long shots (particularly regarding Melena's face) it was a nice set :) Thanks Delta, and thanks Melena.
By the way Melena, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next... ;) 'Someone' told me it will be extremely exciting!!! ;)

It's not often I'm captivated by photography anymore (not since Erro's retirement), but this, like Alex Lynn's work too for MetArt, is beautiful. Walter you have told a sweet/cute/fun little story is told and captured Melena candidly, sensually, sexually, and quite naughtily with that little finger in her bottom I might add :) Everything feel genuine, unrushed and you can tell no boundaries/limits exist. Just take the length of the photoset as an example. Thank you Walter, this photography breathes life, and Melena you've put one very, very, very humungous smile onto my face! Thank you! I really loved this little Soderbergh tribute, right down to that flirty striptease! I must say, I think this one tops Clooney and J'Lo's :) The structure of the scene and the emotions involved reminded me very much of Jealousy: Vol 2, which as you know is one of my favourite films! This still however felt fresh and offered some new insights and perspectives! And, can I say that the body of the film was just gorgeous! I loved how romantic it felt, especially with all those candles!

Can I just add. This is the best cast on an erotic film I have ever seen. The most beautiful and perhaps more importantly, the most talented. We discussed the importance of 'core actors' on Rose's, 'Sblattero thread' on the Blog; these are the ladies I want to see most at SexArt! These four right here! Plus Whitney, Amarna and Ariel. This team of ladies Alis has built is incredible, and constantly generate beautiful, thoughtful, high end film! This team is the strongest since the likes of Sandy, Sophie Moon, Stella Stevens, Nella, Kylie, Jo, etc. at Viv Thomas.

When Tracy leaves, Mango wipes her lips, as if it to erase the dirty taste of what she engaged in. [Scene is about Tracy trying to redeem herself by showing Mango she can think about someone other than herself, but Mango knows Tracy’s true colours by now].

I don’t want to say too much, because I want to write an in depth analysis of ‘Love For Sale’ as a whole, and I’d rather avoid repetition.
What I will say is that I don’t think its coincidence the release of this series coincided with Interstellar. Where Interstellar sought to broaden our understanding of emotion and relationships, both in literal and metaphoric relation to the universe (in amongst many other things [I still continue to ponder and discuss]), this film (and I would suggest series) broadens the notion of sexuality (also in amongst other things). I can already see these works informing one another. Please take this as a massive compliment.
Additionally, Alis, the greatest artists of our time actually have but a few simple things to say. Across their broad and dynamic range of work exists a continuation of ideas and themes, each time adapted, each time offering a fresh perspective and further illumination. I can feel echoes of Be My Slave: Vol. 2, Secretly: Vol. 2, The Heat: Vol. 2, Stay, IBDS: Vol. 2. This appears to be the coalescence of all your greatest works, to form perhaps... your greatest work.
Finally, congratulations Tracy. Really, honestly, you killed it! I’m in awe of your passion and commitment as an actress. It’s admirable, and it’s downright sexy in the same way McConaughey and Woodley (just examples) are. You freakin' go girl!

I get the feeling ‘SHOWTIME’ is a critique on photographic or, more appropriately, filmic GAZE – and I think it extends even further to describe a PARASOCIAL RELATIONSHIP involving scopophilia and objectification.
So… I guess a good place to start is with the camera and television, which facilitate GAZE and allow us, the viewer, to see something that we’d never otherwise see. To help you make sense of that, let me give you an example – I’ve never been to New York, but I’ve seen it, because I’ve seen photos of it and watched films like Taxi Driver. Thus in many ways too, I’m able to project what it might be like to be in New York for real. But, and this is very important, that GAZE of which I’m privy to, presents something that in reality, is likely very, very different from my imaginings of it – regardless of how informed those imaginings are.
Now with this film, and the GAZE it presents, what we’re seeing that we’d never otherwise see, is not a location like I’ve described above, but a person… Melena. And it’s incredibly important here that; made-up like a doll, clothed in these really eye-catching, fetishistic-fashion items and set against a derelict backdrop… she’s emphasised as being the most gorgeous fucking thing in existence (and Melena, you pretty much are babe!). Add to that the dark, blue-hued lighting, which also makes the pink of Melena’s beautiful pussy the brightest thing in frame, and what you’re engaging with is a visual dreamscape that allows you to embellish in whatever scopophilic desires you please. But you have to remember, those are just desires, just imaginings… because this is just a GAZE. Yes Melena’s looking at us, directly addressing us, and demanding we engage with her, but that’s just it… this isn’t real, this relationship is entirely PARASOCIAL and Melena’s nothing more than object of our desires. No matter how many times she looks down that lens, that lens will always separate us – and our lens, the television, serves to remind us of that – (just think of yourself as Melena in those opening few seconds trying to grip nothingness). But… and this is a very big but, because otherwise our viewing of this film would seem a very sad existence indeed… that’s not the only thing the television does. The television also acts as a medium for self-examination, for Melena, but most importantly for us. Through television, through film, we’re able to examine and learn things about GAZE, about PARASOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS; about ourselves… and also about how ridiculously perfect Melena is ;)
Now, I also want to add here that, while I was watching this I could literally feel my brain undergoing neurogenesis; it was firing action potential after action potential connecting synapses that have just never been connected before, and what I experienced was like… a neuronal orgasm. Different completely from the typical orgasm, but now that I’ve got an understanding of this, I’m going to go back and re-watch it. I’m interested in what happens this time round ;)
Also… As for the postlude, I have no idea… All I know is its HOT and that I that If I ever get ahold of those heels, there’s no telling what mischief I’d get up to with them ;)

You always work with the most 'beautiful' girls, and you always bring out both sides of that beauty (physical and internal) in the most fun, vibrant and sex way. You understand posing and the value of personality just as well, if not better than any VS or SI Swim photographer, and you understand how to best fill your frame. Add to that your ability to shoot with vibrant, uplifting, joyous colour and light, and I'm wowed regularly by your ability and class. Maybe you're picturing a little Que Es Le Pasion: Vol. 3?
Some good stuff, and some not so good stuff. Let's start with the good.
I liked how the narrative unfolded, in that it was all essentially a set-up leading to that final postlude and final message. A message which I think perfectly encapsulates the poetry on which this is based. Anissa, leading/guiding Alexa into the darker side of sexuality/love/pleasure. I loved the hints and inklings you presented throughout also: that one tiny cut of the postlude in the opening, and a similar scenario presented in the mirror early on too. Artistically/conceptually, this succeeds, however as the chemistry was lacking it fails to reach into the upper echelon of your output. Also, before I move onto the bad, let me just say: that opening scene was sexiness defined, leggy girls in jeans are one of my greatest weaknesses, a little bottom licking makes me feel naughty and it's something I think should be incorporated into future SexArt features, should the model be open to it.
Now the bad:
- This fell into the old Alis trap. Long shot, medium shot that wanders from pussy to face, close ups that focus only on pussies, breasts and faces. It's a bad trap... a very BAD trap. Don't fall into it. You know the reasons why! ;) You're not missing the action if you wander down that gorgeous leg of Alexa's, your adding to it in a different way, and different is GOOD!
- Location. You have to be really careful and considerate about where you shoot which movies. You really can't go shooting something like this or I've Been Missing U in a location such as this. I know there are restraints and what not, but the surfaces are too clinical, hard, cold, and as such they just don't suit films like this. That location detracts from the story. So you're goign to need to alter the location itself, or change the location of shooting.
Let me point you to 2 VT scenes and I want you to watch them and evaluate the location only. Which one would be better for PTMA and why? The answer should be VERY, VERY clear!
And just so you know Vol. 2 presented the perfect location in which to shoot idea. It's warm and it captured that 'market' feel... and there were some flowers and maybe even some birdcages too if I remember correctly.
- It's too similar. Vol. 2, 3 and 4 are all a little too similar for my liking. Yes, they're all good films, but I've seen them done in this way before. When you shoot a new volume for your anthology collections you must think about (Re;). And by that I mean, all the words and associations from it. re-invent, re-imagine, re-invigorate, re-define, etc. (Re;), it's the BIG IDEA you need to think about when shooting new volumes in your anthologies.
- I know you're like Nolan in that you want to keep things flowing, and keep your pace deliberate, so you edit accordingly. Well, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Here it's not because it doesn't add to the scene (I've seen you use it to convey immediacy before, this is GOOD!), but here it's just an 'out' because the girls would likely have fumbled with their jeans and heels, and not known when to move the little perch thingie. Just remember, sometimes it's ok to watch the girls fumble because it tells us that this is real.

I commented not too long ago about this idea, I'm not sure where though... I'd think 'Doubleface' given the similarities and Julia's casting (once again). I'm curious if you read that comment and decided to develop it? In any case, after reading _fer_realz_ comment I had to watch, mostly in part because this is an idea that can only be expressed in B/G film (as far I'm concerned anyway).
Because this film compares, contrasts and challenges the ideas of gender and relationship conventions and desires. We have the 'generally male' perspective of picking a woman up in a bar/club and having naughty, wild, drunken, one-night-stand sex - and we also have the 'generally female perspective' of making love within an ongoing, romantic relationship. Which one is preferred, which one is better? And in fact... do you even have to chose? This was one couple and perhaps this was all role-play? In any case it's that ambiguity that lets the viewer detail the film in their way, and which makes it extremely special.
A killer concept Alis, and brilliantly executed! Seriously! It's brilliant! This is a B/G film that I actually enjoyed - because it wrapped me up in psychology and concept! And Julia is really cool! She has such a unique look and vibe, and she brings something very different and exciting to your films. I hope we see more of her Alis, especially in G/G outings :)

Hi... sorry, I didn't see your comment before posting. But yes, Xena in our films would be awesome!
I think the thing that set VT apart is what harryben mentions above. The core actors and the insights we got into their personality; which made them feel real, the relationships portrayed feel real; which in turn allowed us to connect with them and that, on a real level.
SexArt is different, because it's more about 'Film': it's designed to illuminate, educate and inform. I look at VT more as 'TV': as the focus should be on the development of story, characters and relationships. Obviously there is a lot of cross-over there, but I hope my point seems clear enough.
What we need is the development of a VT family. Girls we grow to know and care about intimately; girls who allow the audience to connect with them just as much as their on-screen partners. I do understand this will take time. (It's taken 3 years here on SexArt, and we are only just establishing it now). The advantage is VT is a part of the MetArt brand now, and what we have at SexArt: directors, actresses, visions; can be transferred and (loosely) adapted to the original VT format.
I really do have high hopes for this new film. I have a feeling it will deliver :)

I absolutely agree _fer_. What amazes me is that I originally thought the Alexa/Mango relationship was based on sexual infatuation, but you're so right because I now realise how emotional it was! That's genius writing/plot technique at it's best!
I've again posted my notes below, and I feel as though I'm starting (if not on page, then in my own head) to put the pieces together. I'd love for you to read and give me your thoughts :) I'd really appreciate it!
Order of lovers – ???, Lola, then Alexa.
New relationship, different story - works off it’s own accord, but also offers insight into the workings of the Mango/Alexa relationship, and vice versa with previous Act.
Different mood! Where Alexa’s Act was somber, regretful, contemplative, Lola’s is more sexually charged/oriented – Why? – Mango had deeper feelings (of love?) for Alexa. The Alexa relationship didn’t revolve around sex (as was first believed). So… If Mango was in ‘love’ with Alexa, why is she reverting back to a ‘sex-driven’ present? Does she use sex to overcome grief? Note however that the last B&W scene is still a little somber… Lingering thoughts of Alexa that cannot yet be overcome?
3. (I) Outside. Lola and Mango making out. [Note! Another suitcase]. Lola leaving, but Mango not as sad. For her, Lola was just about sex? Didn’t seem as though it hurt as much to see Lola leave.
2. (II) Watching Lola pack her bag, doesn’t seem all that concerned about it. Not like she was with Alexa. Same attire again. Sex quickly ensues. Reinforces notion of this being a sex driven relationship.
1. (III) Giving her a dress as a parting gift? Same clothes. Again, sex quickly ensues.
• B&W Scene 3 suggests Mango want to be dominated – Mango is dominating in colour though… Replaying as she wants it, or as her partner was? Note that the replay function is becoming more noticeable also. How accurately is Mango actually remembering all this? Reinforces idea of these memories being older, but perhaps something else too?
• Length of scene. No mistake that this was much shorter and based strictly on raunchy, hot, no fuss, SEX! There wasn’t much emotion on display, or time dedicated to exploring it (it was there in very small touches though, i.e. kissing hands). This was just about a physical connection
• All in the same day again. We are seeing the last day of a relationship. Why? Meaning to the story - or meaning for writer/director – or both? Is the end of a relationship and how we end the most important, the most indicative of how a relationship worked? Hmm…
Does Lola’s relationship set the stage for Alexa’s? With Lola, it failed (are these failed relationships? What’s the story with the suitcases?) because it was strictly physical. With Alexa it seemed both physical and emotional, (and perhaps mental too) – a combination of lessons learned from previous lovers? Will scene 3 show Mango experiencing a Mental connection?
Lola giving in to Mango very quickly, not giving her something to chase like Alexa did… Note that Lola physically touches Mango (early) and just goes straight into the sex, whereas Alexa engaged her through mind and emotion, before connecting physically.
• Incredible sound control outdoors! Windy, plus external sounds (dog barking, insects, etc) and yet everything was incredibly well controlled, with the sexual encounter remaining the central sound focus. This is how it’s done!!!!
• More IBDS. Shots of hands (including jewelry), skin, lips, hair, bums (Lola's!!!) etc. Keep it up, it’s soooo hot and sultry and sexy!
• Minimal (if any) lower body (legs and feet) medium shots and close ups. Very disappointed…

This series is extremely personal for me. Which is incredible, because I know as a director, it’s most personal to you. To be able to tell a story that reaches your heart, and the hearts of many is an incredible accomplishment. I know it’s not done yet, but so far, this has achieved just that! Relationships and experiences from our past, present and future will all be affected by, inform and educate one another. What amazes me is that this concept/theory is something I have been considering for a very long time, and it was in fact, Memento that inspired that pattern of thinking. I honestly cannot believe that Alis! I honestly can’t.
P.S. Mango… you are one spoilt little angel. Alexa and Lola… How do you even do it girl?!?!? But, you know what, you deserve to be spoiled… Thank you for all your efforts so far, I can’t wait to see the next (and perhaps final? Act).

Much like it's story-driven Nolan namesake, I don't think any of this is really going to fall into place until the last few minutes of the Final Act.
So... I thought an interesting way for me to contribute and give back while the series is still running, would be to post the notes that I make for each 'Act'. These are the notes that I generally make for all my film reviews, before structuring and finalising them into something that makes sense.
Once the series has reached it's completion, I'll then compile them before posting a Film/Series Review as a Blog Piece. I hope it's a good idea...
I really don’t have too much to add here. It’s a gorgeous film, but for me, it’s not much more than that. I think that comes down to the issue of rebooting too soon, and in turn failing to add anything overtly fresh in the way of story and theme.
I did however love the ‘Haute Couture’ – Fashion-esque postlude. If you are struggling for new ideas, and I can completely understand if that’s the case, you work your butt off!!! But, that is certainly a series that I feel could be rebooted and/or adapted. The original, for my liking, had a great number of shortcomings, and I’d love to see an updated Alis 2.0 version of it, with a much greater emphasis on Fashion and less on explicit sex.

Rose :) I love your second sentence. That's exactly how I felt about the film, and what I've written below. It was romantic AND naughty; neither is mutually exclusive here, but combined in a 'warm and fulfilling' way. The love/sex connection shared here indicates that these woman are completely in tune with each other: mentally, physically, emotionally.

To the comments of others I have very little to add. I do want to say that watching this scene brang a pure sense of joy! Every element here represents so strongly what I love: water, summer, women, happiness, an outdoor location with beautiful furniture (etc.). Like _fer_realz_, I do wish bikini's had of been added to this mix, but that's quite nitpicky and based on personal taste. On the whole, I loved it!
Akio and Tracy have both slowly grown on me, to the point where they are now two of my favourite models here at SexArt. Tracy really is killing it! Alis, this is an extremely intelligent and considered piece: it’s absolutely awesome!
Exploring the duality and dynamics of a relationship and the partners within it, we’re first presented with our girls as single, separate entities. Andrej and Ariel,
I’m beginning to worry a little that your roles at VT have influenced the type of content you’re producing for SexArt. This is another piece of beautiful porn, the problem being that it lacks the thematic storytelling I expect from SexArt film. I hope I’m wrong, because I know you guys are capable of more transcendent work, and I hope we’ll be seeing something fresh and different soon. Yes, as far as beautiful porn goes, the video is a wonderful effort, but even still, I honestly wanted to like it so much more than I did.
On the positive side, the opening was fantastic. I’m a summer person and a real beach baby, and I have a bit of a fashion fetish too (Aiko’s dress and shoes are soooo pretty!): so you caught my attention early. What turned the whole thing on its head was the girls rolling around with wet bodies and wet clothes in the sand… I’ve never had a problem with sand before, ever, but here I did. Dry bodies and dry sand can actually feel quite nice, wet bodies and dry sand but… it’s icky! And those poor dresses!
Additionally, and I’m extremely surprised to be saying it because you guys always capture and edit intimacy; but the shooting and editing of the sexual content in this film was sub-par. I expect their were difficulties involved with reflections, but the still (lack of panning), fixed cameras, and the regulated hard cuts (long, medium, close up, repeat) drained a great deal of authenticity from this piece. I was surprised and disappointed.
To finish on a highly positive side, however, I must say that our girls looked stunning. Congrats to Marcela! In particular too, I want to mention Aiko. I’ve had three experiences with Aiko as an actress. In her first scene with Alyssa Reece (for SexArt), I must admit, I saw her merely as an extra. [Faith is a wonderful example of the type of film I expect from SexArt by the way guys]. In her next appearance with Tracy Lindsay (for VT), I thought she played a great supporting role, but now in her third appearance, I see her as a leading lady, and a gorgeous ‘role model’ of sorts. Aiko’s beautiful: her skin/tan is soft, radiant and healthy, she’s looking fit and toned, happy and smiley, and she seems to bring a/her genuine, kind personality to her work. So, Aiko, if you’re reading this, ‘please keep up the great work. You’re beautiful and talented!’

Honestly Sydney this is the reason I'm losing interest in SexArt and likely not going to be renewing my subscription when it runs out in June. I'm just not into the boy/girl as much as girl/girl except for a few scenes that have been few and far between and I've yet to see a single solo girl photo gallery since joining I've felt I really had to download. A lot of the time I just feel like they're uninspired and generic.
I the reason for this might have to do with how the powers that be at MetArt want to reorganize their sites. While they haven't come out and made an announcement I believe they plan on making SexArt strictly boy/girl in the same way VivThomas is now MetArt's go to girl/girl site and The Life Erotic is now strictly solo girl.

A great point Sydney, very well made. One of my all time favorite TV series, "Queer As Folk," featured straight men in the main roles because they were great actors, and this is becoming more and more common as rigid definitions of gender and sexuality become more fluid and some of the outdated prejudices melt away. The difference here is that our performers are actually having sex, not just acting it, and as Ariel says below, those that do it well have to be feeling something. We can all spot a fake! I don't think these labels of 'gay,' 'straight,' 'lesbian' etc are useful or relevant these days. I wrote a blog post a while back about pansexuality which talks in more depth about being attracted to a person rather than a gender. To come back to this movie, Nancy looks totally into what she's doing. If she's not genuinely turned on and having a great time, she deserves an Oscar!

Hi Sydney, Mr. Llanberris recently shot this scene. We are happy to see him back at SexArt. Hopefully, we'll continue to see his work here at SexArt. At first, I was skeptical about Dana's performance because of her extensive background in the "industry." However, Dana was a delight to watch; she was smart, funny and incredibly sexy. In my opinion, this was nicely executed by Bo and his crew.
Lastly, your thoughts about how you'd produce a GLS are all valid points. I think all the Directors that shoot for the MetArt Network either self-taught or skilled graduates from AFI, like Llanberris, strive to create intimacy with all the models no matter what the storyline is. Unfortunately, this is not always as straightforward as it would seem. There are 100's of variables that make a scene work, or for that matter fail. For instance, you shoot a scene in the span of hours, not days. So, getting to know someone is compacted. Just Jasmine was shot over a few days, which allowed us more time to put it together. Budgetary restrictions do not permit us to do this on 95% of the shoots. Directors like Bo, have become very adept at getting as much as possible from the actors in the short time allowed.

Description says that it's a "lost" Bo Llanberis flick. So I would guess it goes back to the early days, when Bo was shooting for SA.
Elle is a favorite. I've followed her somewhat, to some sites that focus on letting performers authentically be themselves in a scene instead of doing a scripted performance crafted only to pander to male fantasies. She's still doing fantastic work. I wish SA could entice her to make a trip to Europe.
There are a lot of pairings where I think she could shine. I think I would keep her coupled with partners who are close to her age; who share the dynamic and passion that comes the fully developed sexual confidence and expression. I've mentioned Amarna downthread and at Horizont II. I'm sure that a pairing of Elle and Samantha Bentley would melt monitors and could easily end up being banned in future global warming treaties. Elle and Eufrat - easily scoring "E"s for excellence. I could go on, but what's the point? The key thing would be getting her back.

And I know that I cannot speak for you, but I feel that part of MY frustration that is coming out in my comments lately is a lack of feedback from the MA management.
I am NOT saying Rose isn't doing her job. Rose will ALWAYS give us the best answer she is authorized to give ~ and, when she is not authorized to give one, she will give us the best, politest, most revealing she can, non-answer because to give us an actual answer would be to jeopardize her job or at least get herself in hot water.
I know this because on my job, I am in a similar position to Rose ~ I am the frontline so to speak and my residents look to ME for all kinds of answers I cannot give them and so I find the best answer I possibly can, which is an always polite but nevertheless non-answer non answer.
Jon should NOT have said "Gee, Sydney, I wish you'd tone it down ~ I'm not trying to censor you, but gosh, I wish you'd censor yourself..." and if he doesn't like the tone of your or any other members' comments he needs to get into the conversation a little more often and give us straight answers OR give us the frustrating but necessary non-answers himself. Rose shouldn't always take the brunt, and you shouldn't feel guilty for being frustrated and expressing that frustration.
Like I said before, I can't speak for other members but I know that usually when you vent a frustration you are speaking for me, and I suspect other members as well.
I think if Jon realized that our testiness is frustration and not personal vindictiveness, he wouldn't feel as sensitive about it himself.

Sydney, I suspect this MetArtX thing is with us for good. I'm no expert but they seem pretty committed to it. They've crossed the Rubicon, they've burned their bridges, etc. (LOL) It's a thing now, it's their thing, they're going to see it through.
(To everyone: Sydney emailed me personally a few weeks back, and I'm just finding the time it deserves to respond to his concerns. I've decided to copy my response here since what he wrote to me personally is all now here in public view.)
Excuse my slowness in getting back to you. I have been traveling with work since the beginning of the year non-stop.
I've read through all the comments, and I hear what you're saying. I do agree with some of your remarks you've made. I am making adjustments and currently interviewing Directors for SexArt and VivThomas. My team and I understand each site is more robust when you have a variety of creative visions. However, this process takes time. With that said, I would ask you as a friend, from someone who respects your insight on film to curtail some of your statements. I'm not censoring you, but you simply don't understand the multitude of complexities of running adult content sites. It's easy to scrutinize from your armchair, and it's another to be in the fray, getting bloody by the commercial blows the company has to endure every day.
You're wrong about MetArtX; it spawned from the countless member feedback wanting MetArt girls to do more explicit scenes. I know SexArt was supposed to fill this void, but it was never able to because of the graphic nature of the content. I am now traveling to Eastern Europe searching for MetArt quality models that will first shoot on MetArt and then the few models we can cultivate to transition into shooting MetArtX.
You bring up buying VivThomas as unnecessary. As I stated, a situation you don't understand. Buying Viv was 50% business and 50% helping Viv himself when he was very sick because of a fall he took a few years back. Luckily, Viv healed, and all is well now. However, in the moment, MetArt being who MetArt is, a compassionate company stepped in and helped Viv transition into retirement with the purchase of VivThomas.com. We were not interested in buying Viv at the time, but since VivThomas.com was already ingested into the MetArt Network, we felt it would be an easy takeover. We underestimated how much work it would be to take over a twenty-year-old company based in brick and mortar DVD sales. We are still adjusting and refining our ownership and get closer to taking Viv to a 100% digital sales driven company.
With regards to Andrej and Locanta being in their wrong places, I strongly disagree. Your problem lies strictly in the middle of a lack of variety. Which, to this point, I agree 100%. Andrej has become and extraordinary filmmaker, with subtleties of great mainstream Directors like Steven Soderberg. His shot-setups have been outstanding over the past year.
Locanta struggled with his debut on VivThomas.com because I directed him wrong. He took my direction verbatim, as Locanta always does, and it was not received well by long-standing VivThomas members. I loved the raw, handheld, quick cut style we launched with but I failed to understand the VivThomas member before we began. For that, I apologize. I should have taken more time learning Viv's style he developed over twenty years. Luckily, I had Rose and the rest of the VivThomas crew guide me back to where we are now and headed into the future.
I know all your comments come from a place of commitment to the MetArt Network. For that, I truly thank you. Having customers take the time to give detailed, thoughtful feedback is worth gold, as you can imagine. When Rose says, we are adjusting you can take that to heart, and not "customer-satisfaction" rhetoric.
I have learned a great deal about the adult industry since me, and my business partner took over MetArt in 2008. We were taught by the creator of MetArt the many philosophical differences of what made MetArt different. It was a recipe for making beautiful, artful erotica. No other adult producer has come close to MetArt and what it has achieved when it comes to the "art of erotica". I live by those principles to this day, at least I try. I am adjusting our productions consistently; my failures are my guidance to understanding the changes needed in running a better company from top to bottom.
I end with the acknowledgment of your and other members concerns, but I ask you to trust that we are listening and evolving based on what we know about running a successful production company against the needs of our fans. Remember, it's never black and white; it always lies somewhere in the middle.

I've now watched all the MetArtX material released and I have to say, it's phenomenally mediocre. There's virtually nothing to it. Minimal context, minimal story, and bar the Lakante stuff (which is no different from his TLE work), zero art. It's just... girl, girl plays, end. It's a lazy, uninspired format.
Can we please just consider this whole MetArtX business a terrible, greedy misadventure and get back to making art at SexArt? Bring Locanta back and lets get Lynn, Lightfoot and Erro interested in contributing solo. That sounds like a SIGNIFICANTLY better idea to me.

You are not comparing apple with apple Sydney... Unlike a website in erotic arts, both films are hit and run business addressing masses... It would be far more difficult to produce one mad Max or The Revenant every week to the satisfaction of comparably much limited market size. As you mentioned above, I agree that both teams could produce their best under SA umbrella to address expectations better.

Hey, we are all on the same team here! And we really appreciate the feedback we get from all of you, because it really does matter to us very much. Your concerns are valid, and only the improvements that I know are coming will be able to prove how seriously we do take it; you may not have had a direct response, but rest assured we continually discuss, reassess, debate and plan accordingly, and the feedback we get from you guys is a key part of that process. It's frustrating that I can't tell you, "this, this and this is happening," because I know it would really reassure you about the direction in which we're heading. Thanks for keeping us on our toes, and rest assured we want to keep hearing it - and facilitating that discussion and exchange of views is part of why I'm here (the other part is for the girls girls girls, of course)!
Yes... the whole point is that it doesn't have to be one or the other, we can have both. It's a question of listening to the artists, listening to the paying members, and adjusting the corporate vision to meet both sets of expectations as best as possible.
I don't have anything else to say at this point that isn't repeating myself. As I said in my original response - you make some good points, we listen, we care. There's nothing else I can share with you right now. I hope most members are happy with what we deliver and have faith that we will always strive to improve.
MetArtX has been launched specifically in response to requests from MetArt members. We're confident that all the sites have a unique and separate identity, something that will be developed even more over time. We have hired new staff and sought out new artists to fulfil the demand for more content. And we're really proud of the way the company is developing. I'm not sure what more I can say really... except that I hope members will enjoy it and see the proof of what we say in what we deliver.
When you're talking about quality, you don't talk about "industry standards." By industry standards, the nursing home I work in SHOULD be delivering quality care to its residents ~ but it isn't, because economics comes first and resident care comes second. Even though nobody will admit it except us CNAs and nurses delivering front line care, it's the truth. We have far too few caretakers per resident, and we have our caretakers being massively underpaid. Even though we're at the industry standard for staffing and ~ almost ~ up to the industry standard for pay, the result is mediocrity with occasional good care, rather than consistently excellent care.
Quality is quality and speaks for itself. You don't find it when productivity/output is the number one objective.
As I said last night, what we have in 2016 on VT and SA is good erotica, even quality erotica, but we do NOT have the excellence we had several years ago. Sydney is right about that.
You know what they say about making assumptions, Sydney? You are incorrect about this. Our directors have been custom shooting specifically for MetArtX for some time now, so we would have content ready for launch. It has nothing to do with SexArt or TLE.

Yes, that's what I am saying... we often shoot two scenes a day, which is MUCH less than pretty much every other company out there. It's the opposite of 'churning out.'
Yep. Quantity driving means that quality takes a back seat. I don't care if we're talking about Locanta or Lupin or any director, when the overriding objective is to provide so much material within so much time, rather than being to provide some material that is EXCELLENT, the results always speak for themselves.
When SA had two excellent filmmaking teams, we had excellence in film. Now that the teams have been separated and each is responsible for all the video output on a site, the storyline has all but disappeared and the excellence has evaporated. What we are left with is merely good erotica ~ which I will take anyday in preference to cookie-cutter mainstream porn, don't get me wrong. But Sydney is absolutely right that SA 2016 simply does not measure up to SA 2014, and I think the culprit is quantity vs. quality.
I'm sorry if it came across as "cookie cutter"... I don't want to say more about our plans partly because it's confidential - there's a reason we don't let our rivals know what we are working on! - and partly because I think it sounds fake to say "we're doing this, we're doing that...". I would rather let our actions - in terms of upcoming changes and improvements - speak for us. We have made massive changes to both TLE and Viv Thomas during the past year in response to feedback from members, so I hope that's enough to reassure members here that we do listen and care about what they say.
Guys.. I don't have the expertise and the depth you are in on these matters... I can only talk based on my impressions and satisfaction... What I am after is; Love, beauty, dignity, innocence and exchange of love... I am not really after obscenity or raw sex, or ridiculation whether it is art or not. Sorry to say and accept that I may be wrong, but I do conceive Team Locanta pretty much in this category. I used to be a member of VT and I dropped it due to frustration. Another words, I didin't and still don't feel like following Team Locanta at VT. I am not denying and overruling their magnificent productions. Yet, when all summed up this where I am.
Having said that, I am pretty content with what Team Lupin cooks in their kitchen once or twice a week... I am not a big fun of G/G movies but I do appreciate beauty and intense womanhood, and enjoy them as well occasionally. ... Solo girls are simply unbelievable...
To sum up, I think I am quite content with SexArt as is. If teams were switched with VT, probably I would drop SA and renew VT to follow Team Lupin.
Thanks for the rapid reply, Sydney. I'm really glad you're still around, it's been so long since we've heard from you and frankly I can't blame you. You'll notice my volume of commentary has drastically fallen off lately, and it's only partly because I've been in school this semester.
I cannot agree more heartily with you about the "quantity vs. quality" problem and it affecting both Team Lupin and Team Locanta. Agreeing with that, I differ with you in that I prefer B/G and so this has been a fairly good year as far as I'm concerned just in terms of quality of B/G scenes here.
I agree with you however that by and large the story has been lost and that really does reduce what would be excellent work to merely good work. I think the burden of having to produce 3 films a day via shooting two per day during a shoot has got to be tremendously wearing and leaves precious little time for story.
Solo work for me has always been problematic. Where I will agree with you is that when it is good it can be quite inspiring. For me that frequently comes down to an inspired performer who is allowed by the director to BE inspired and to perform with whatever inspiration she brings. I think that, more so than partner or group film, solo is almost entirely about what it is that drives the model herself and if she hasn't got an inner fire, nothing that she does is going to be convincing. Therefore, I dismiss almost all solo work before I even watch it. I think I've watched maybe 25% of the solo content on TLE lately ~ I just can't muster the enthusiasm.
So because so much of solo erotica is uninspired, I simply haven't missed it here. I feel bad for you and other enthusiasts however and I do think there should be some room for it here because of your desire for it.
As for the Blacks... they have released two photoset/film projects on TLE in the recent months, I hope you can at very least view them in "pay per view," even if you don't have a subscription... (:

What I will say about your switching Team Lupin with Team Locanta is that while team Lupin were at VT their work was rather uninspired, IMO, because they had to do so much work, it was another case of quantity trumping quality.
I would far rather bring Team Locanta back to SA and find some other teams to take over VT. I'm still pulling for bringing Jo back, and to be honest, Caravaggio has done some really nice films over there. I think it would be possible to find some other artists to take over VT while bringing SA's A-Teams back home where they belong.
Sydney, MetArt is currently working on a new site called "MetArtX" that will contain solo films with MA models. I believe that is why there haven't been any on SA recently, they've been saving them up for MAX. I could be wrong about this, perhaps Rose will correct me if I'm wrong.
However, I have the feeling if Erro were going to do solo films, they would appear on MAX, not SA. (: I hope this has been helpful. (:

Hi Sydney, thank you for the excellent reference, I really did enjoy the short video on framing.
I believe you are here defending Lupin's use of framing in this scene.
One interesting thing about the scenes that were referenced in the YouTube video is that they were all DYNAMIC. The scene itself was always moving. The scene in this video is static. That is why the vast areas of dead screen first annoyed, and then frustrated me.
It's OK IMO for a director in an erotic scene to conceal in order to reveal ~ as long as there is a gradual and satisfactory payoff, i.e. a reveal. For well over half this scene, there was very little visual payoff, and very little progress toward the visual payoff that there eventually was, hence my mounting annoyance and frustration. Perhaps I simply lack your patience, Sydney. (:

The second episode bowled me over, because as you know I have a thing for Spanish girls talking in their native language. And now Agatha, as you say, has brought the sexy-cool. I don't think you will be disappointed by the choice of language (or girl) in the final episode, although I agree French would have been an obvious and very arousing choice!

I think it's really easy to over-read things. But sometimes a rose is just a rose, and sometimes a first impression is accurate, even if you feel somewhat conflicted about it.
I'm not saying it is not a good thing for Alis to try his take on ideas he hasn't done yet (the basic concept reminded me more than a little of "Reading Room" and also another movie on VT where the lady is sitting at the breakfast table while another girl is pleasuring her below the table) , nothing could be further from the truth. And perhaps I was a tad harsh in my original reaction in that I did not even acknowledge that this is an attempt to come at an idea in a fresh and original way, and that's my failure.
But it still strikes me as wrong that the twist in this scene should have to be explained to us... I think there could have been a way that Alis could have revealed the twist to us that wouldn't have ruined the concept.

The significance of what's actually happening shouldn't have to be explained to us in comments, IMO. Without that piece of information, the first half of the scene doesn't make sense, and SEEMS ~ just like you pointed out ~ a performance and nothing more.

Sydney: I've been pondering this quote for almost a day now, since I read it, because I have a rather strong reaction to it. Perhaps this a topic that belong on the blog instead of here, because its' broader than just this film. But that's not something I can make happen, so I offer my comments.
Unfortunately, your first sentence is too often true. I do wish to contend your second sentence.
To be blunt, some of the most fervent sexual passion I have ever seen portrayed in a video has involved performers who are over that dreaded 30-year old threshold. It might not have the energy of youth, but what is there is depths of passion, fervor, emotional ardor that only comes with the passage of years. I think that women over 30 years of age can generate just as much “steam” as a younger model.
In the early years sexuality certainly is greatly driven by physicality, I remember quite vividly the attractions of my youth. However, as we age the vicissitudes of life add texture and nuance to our sexuality. Yeah, as we age we lose some physicality. But I believe that is more than compensated by the added depth and richness of emotion and experience that we bring to relationship. And I have certainly seen that conveyed with performers in their late 30’s in a way that no 23-yr old could ever touch.
If SexArt were only about physical relationship, then certainly the window to shoot these artists would be limited as you suggest. Certainly that’s true of all of the porn sites out there for whom the performers, male and female alike, are just sex objects. In that world, when the physical elements fade it’s the kiss of death.
But I’m here because I don’t perceive SexArt as part of that world. I think that SexArt’s drive is to go beyond that to depict the deeper and more intimate aspects of sexuality. And that sexuality simply doesn’t end at age 30 or thereabouts.
As I have commented frequently, I have the greatest admiration and respect for our performers who reveal themselves intimately to the camera. One of my dreams is that some of our performers will continue to be involved with SexArt (or similar) as they progress through life and will leave us an oeuvre that tracks with their lives.
Looking back I would expect to see some times where tenderness is front and center, likely coinciding with things going on in the performer’s life. Other times might be tempestuous. Others melancholy. Or celebratory. And each shows sexuality in its own fashion.
It would be thrilling to me if our talented directorial and production were able to take something like that on as a vision, and weave the generation of such an oeuvre into their corpus d’arte.

I have few points to your proposals. You have to understand, that each director has his own specific way "signature" of his point of view. Doesn't matter if its Andrej, Alis, Paul or Tarantino, Michael Bay, Baz Luhrmann..
No matter how many movies you see from them, they will always have same system of shoot/look in many ways.
For me sounds quite realistic that if there are some fashion models on work, they stay on a hotel for the time of shoot.. I don't see anything unreal on a hotel room in this case.
In real life I am VERY sure that lesbian girls are in contact with many men around them.. On Earth doesn't live only girls, so I would say that to see a man in a GG scene is quite realistic too. Of course not if the whole scene is in girls house, or room or any place where is no chance to meet a man in real live.
How do you think that we can look at our beautiful girl which you are mentioned in your comment? Once, someone gave them chance when they were new and book them for shoot :) and this step give us and you chance to be able to adore them. We always shoot new girls and we shoot them same as we shoot our "old" favorite star girls. My production was only from your list shooting 7 girls this year and always in more than one scene. Anyway, if we wouldn't give a chance this year for example Lady Dee who is now on 16th place in TOP models we wouldn't have new, great, lovely girl :) Please, give chance to new models, one day they can become girls for who you will pray, that you can see them again. I am sure they deserve it :)
ANYWAY lets forgive all this, I have a big offer for you. Me and my team make a decision, that we would be really happy if you join us on our production. I am sure you will be very happy to have chance to shoot for example Tracy, Kiara, Lady Dee, Anna Rose, Taylor Sands, Amirah Adara and many more girls who are joining us on our next production on Lanzarote. It would be great for us to meet you, talk about our work and see your style and signature in movies which you will shoot. Everything what you have to do is to jump on a plane and come, you are very welcome :) Ask Rose for my personal email and lets fix the details.
